Monty Ray is an American born guitarist / singer / songwriter who was born in Washington State and grew up in upstate New York. He has been influenced by some the guitar greats such as Randy Rhoads, David Gilmore, S.R.V, Zakk Wylde, and EVH to name a few. You can expect hard rock, blues, acoustic and pure soul from his original music.

 

Monty prides himself on his originality and the search for his own unique tone. With one album finished, "Nothing To Hide" and his current album in the works, "Gettin Dark early", Monty is moving full speed ahead and wants to solidify his legacy as a guitarist and songwriter.
